As from early age fishing was related to have a stick with the worm on the other end. Soon I got bored by sitting on my ass and waiting until a fish would find my bait. I wanted something more exiting, something more fun and something that I had to work on to be awarded. Soon I realize that this could all be done by starting to tie my own flies and fly fish them in different lakes and rivers. As soon as I started fly fishing, I was converted... the fish wasn't the only one who good hooked! I still remember my first fly fish which I caught on m own fly. It was at the age of 10 in a small lake in Iceland called Elliðavatn. The fish wasn't big, around 1 lbs but I still remember the joy and how proud I was landing my first fly fish. From that day I knew that my whole life would be dedicated to fly fishing and fly fishing flies.

When I grew older I started to dream about other fly fishing destinations, other fly patterns and other ways to fly fish. Under this page I will try to mention most of the fly fishing destinations I have heard about and if you know about any good destination please let me know.
