How to fish
Dams & Reservoirs / River & Streams / Still Water
Pull through the waves on a windy day or make a motion as a figure of eight on calmer ones. Best fished on a boat as a top dropper. When these fly fishing flies are fished close to the surface the most successful way to retrieve the fly is by forming the figure 8 with the fly line. You can use both floating or intermediate fly line when fishing black zulu trout flies.
We use this fly fishing fly alot when fishing in the autumn in the Suisse alps. Fly fishing flies with red in them have proven to be attractive even in really cold conditions. In Iceland we have fished this fly all over the island for seatrout, arctic char and brown trout with a good success.
